Fishing

Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey offers 4.5 miles of double bank premier fly-fishing on the River Wharfe. Its clear waters provide an ideal habitat for brown trout and grayling, while the stunning surroundings create a peaceful retreat for anglers of all levels.

Fishing Season

Trout: 25th March – 30th September

Grayling: 16th June – 14th March

  • Fishing permitted between the Aqueduct and Kex Beck
  • Rod licence required (anglers must bring their own equipment)
