About the River Wharfe
The River Wharfe is one of the most scenic in the Yorkshire Dales, stretching approximately 65 miles from its source at Oughtershaw and Green Field becks. It flows through villages and valleys before joining the River Ouse near Cawood. The river is home to a variety of fish species, including brown trout and grayling, and is very much admired and respected by anglers from around the country.
