Pirate Ship and Pop-up Beach

Set beside the river at the Cavendish Pavilion, the Pirate Ship and Pop‑Up Beach offers families a relaxed space for imaginative play throughout the summer months.
Children can clamber aboard the wooden galleon, dig and build in the sand, and enjoy a gentle adventure in a beautiful corner of the Bolton Abbey estate.
Included in the estate admission, it’s an experience that invites young explorers to spend unhurried time outdoors while adults take in the peaceful riverside surroundings.
