Village charm

Located in the village of Burnsall, this quaint village radiates historic charm, featuring beautiful architecture like the schoolhouse and the beautifully restored 13th century St Wilfrid’s Church by Sir William Craven.

Part of the family

Acquired in 1999 by the Bolton Abbey Estate, the hotel was lovingly restored and thoughtfully designed by the Duchess of Devonshire, blending rich history with modern comforts.

The Fell is part of Bolton Abbey Escapes, a collection of beautiful properties in tranquil and unspoiled locations across the Yorkshire Dales. This includes The Devonshire Arms Hotel, The Hall at Bolton Abbey, The Cavendish Pavilion and three well-appointed holiday cottages.

Bolton Abbey Escapes is also part of Estate Escapes, which includes our sister estate, Chatsworth Escapes in Peak District. This is home to The Cavendish Hotel at Baslow, The Beeley Inn and The Pilsley Inn, as well as a large collection of self-catering holiday cottages and shepherds huts.
