Celebrate some of the darkest and clearest skies in the country
2026 marks the 11th edition of the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival, following a landmark tenth anniversary year, and continues to showcase just how rare and special these night skies are.
Across the festival, a wide programme of events invites visitors to experience the landscape after dark. You can join stargazing safaris, astrophotography workshops, and canoeing and night navigation. There’ll also be children’s daytime trails, art workshops, and mindful experiences.
