Do you accommodate children?
Children are welcome to stay in larger rooms at our hotels and in our selection of holiday cottages. To discuss your options please contact res@boltonabbeyescapes.co.uk
Do your hotels & cottages have parking?
All of our hotels and cottages have complimentary parking on site.
Can I charge my electric vehicle?
We have electric charging points available at The Devonshire Arms Hotel and The Fell Hotel on a first come, first served basis. Once your vehicle is charged please move it to allow other guests to use the facility.
Can I use the Devonshire Spa at The Devonshire Arms Hotel?
We offer complimentary access to The Devonshire Spa facilities to all guests staying in our two hotels or cottages. Please speak to our friendly team res@boltonabbeyescapes.co.uk for more information.
How dog friendly are you?
A warm welcome awaits our guests of the four-legged kind. At our dog friendly hotels and cottages, dogs and their owners will enjoy access to acres of off-road walks directly from their doorsteps, with beautiful vistas of the Dales to be explored together. There is a small fee for dogs and they must be booked in advance. Please call us on 01756 718111 for further information.
Can you fish on the River Wharfe?
Fly fishing at Bolton Abbey provides an opportunity to connect with nature, challenge oneself, and appreciate the beauty of the region.
Fishing Season
Trout: 25th March – 30th September
Grayling: 16th June – 15th March
Day tickets are available to Bolton Abbey Escapes guests and allow fishing between the Aqueduct and Kex Beck.
Day Tickets
£70 per person
Please purchase and collect tickets from The Devonshire Arms Hotel reception. You can call ahead to secure tickets on 01756 718100. Tuition with equipment provided is also available, please contact reception for more information.
For day tickets, a rod licence will be required and fishers will need to bring their own equipment.
